Born into a family that produced photoelectronic equipment I was confronted from childhood with terms like analyser, cyan and magenta. Not only did my parents earn our living with these devices, they were both enthusiastic photographers at the same time, and must have handed this love for photography down to me. At the age of six I laid out my first handline which triggered a second passion. Back then my mother had to unhook the floundering fish but I was hooked for life. For many years now I have since exchanged the handline for a flyrod.

It is a wonderful thing to combine my two passions, photography and flyfishing through my travels. My love for nature and the will to carry my camera equipment on my back for days on end result in the images you can see on this webpage.
